EP Wealth Advisors in Los Angeles seeks a Wealth Advisor to deliver personalized financial guidance and wealth-management strategies to individual clients.

You will build long-term client relationships, understand goals, and tailor solutions across investments, retirement, and estate planning. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and strong business development skills to attract and retain clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business-related major.
• Series 65 or equivalent required/licensed.
• Minimum 2 years of relationship management/sales experience, with ≥1 year in financial services.
• Interest in developing a career in financial services; CFP certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
• CRM software and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with branch team to provide service to a defined group of clients.
• Support internal marketing by qualifying leads and referring to advisor team.
• Coordinate with portfolio management, operations, and financial planning on client meeting prep and workflows.
• Document client interactions and related workflows in the CRM system.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements, financial services, and related duties.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure quality and compliance in all functions.
• Perform tasks to support business development and client retention objectives.

The Wealth Advisor provides personalized financial advice and wealth management strategies to individual clients. This role focuses on building long-term relationships, understanding clients' financial goals, and creating tailored solutions for investment, retirement, and estate planning. The advisor collaborates with internal teams to ensure comprehensive services and stays updated on market trends and regulations. Strong business development skills are required to attract new clients and retain existing ones while ensuring client satisfaction.

• Work closely with branch team to provide service to a defined group of clients
• Support internal marketing efforts by qualifying leads and referring to appropriate advisor team
• Liaise with advisory team internal team members including portfolio management, operations and financial planning on client meeting preparation and monitoring workflow associated with servicing clients
• Document client interactions and client related workflows in contact management system
• Engage resources to stay current with information regarding regulatory requirements, financial services, and other functions pertinent to duties.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance
• Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve the firm's business development and client retention objectives.
