Stuller, Inc. is seeking a Wax Technician - Plastic in Lafayette, LA to efficiently produce high-quality plastic patterns for the lost-wax casting process.
You will use handheld tools and plastic injection machines, inspect patterns for flaws, and hand off to the next step in the process. The role emphasizes manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with consistent precision in a fast-paced environment.

Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The Wax team creates and refines high-quality wax patterns for the lost-wax casting process. They use a variety of handheld tools, similar to dental instruments, to shape wax and plastic injections from molds. They will inspect the quality of pieces and remove any flaws from the patterns. The separate wax and plastic pieces are combined onto a common sprue rod to create a tree-like structure also used in the lost-wax casting process.

The role of a Wax Technician - Plastic is to efficiently produce plastic patterns of the highest quality possible to be used for the lost wax casting process. To accomplish this, you will be using a variety of handheld tools. You will create the wax pattern by using a plastic injection machine and metal molds. Then, you will inspect the quality of the plastic injection and hand it off to the next step in the process.
