Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Wax Injector Operator in Wickliffe, OH to operate wax injection equipment and produce wax pattern parts.

You will maintain melting pots, clean plugs, and ensure overall pattern quality, dies and sub-assemblies, while upholding safety and efficiency standards and SOPs. The successful candidate will follow all procedures and perform additional duties as assigned by supervision in a production environment requiring attention to detail and adherence to

• Operate the wax injection equipment to produce wax pattern parts efficiently.
• Keep wax and soluble melting pots filled at all times.
• Clean plugs and maintain quality on patterns, solubles, gating, sprues and sub-assemblies.
• Keep dies clean and stored properly after each job.
• Meet efficiency standards and keep the work area clean, safe and orderly.
• Follow procedures, safety rules and SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Wax Injector Operator must be able to complete all operations and operate the equipment efficiently when making wax pattern product:
• Keep wax and soluble melting pots filled at all times.
• Clean plugs.
• Maintain quality on all patterns, solubles, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies.
• Keep all dies clean after completing each job and stored in proper area.
• Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.
• Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.
• Follow procedures and all safety rules.
• Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
• Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
• Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
