Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Waterworks Branch Operations.

This hands-on leadership role supervises 1–5 associates and oversees a branch volume of $5–10 million, handling inventory, shipping, customer service, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has proven branch operations experience, water/wastewater industry exposure, strong leadership, and financial acumen to manage budgets and P&L while driving sales relationships with customers

Qualifications

• Proven experience in day-to-day branch functions and people management.
• Water, wastewater or related infrastructure industry experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
• Understanding of sales side of the business and how to influence sales.
• Strong relationship building skills (customers, vendors, associates, etc).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations including inventory, shipments, and customer service.
• Supervise and train warehouse and customer service personnel.
• Perform duties such as shipping, receiving, and customer service, especially in coverage situations.
• Lead safety standards and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, capital planning, and P&L for the branch.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
• Use data to make decisions and improve performance.
• Manage all aspects of employee management including hiring and scheduling.
