Job summary

Florida Water Guard is seeking qualified installers for waterproofing projects in Florida. This hourly position offers starting pay of $18 per hour with potential for higher income based on training and experience.

Candidates must have their own transportation and can start immediately. Responsibilities include loading trailers, performing high-quality installations, following safety procedures, and maintaining job-site cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in construction trades or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate equipment and power tools.
• English literacy; bilingual EN/ES a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads the trailers with all materials, accessories, and tools before leaving the company, ensuring everything is needed.
• Performs high-quality installations, moving job progress to an on-time completion.
• Follow directions on system and product applications.
• Get familiar with all the waterproofing phases, product application data sheets, and safety tool management.
• In all circumstances, follow the OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Be able to climb leader and work with height.
• Count, organize, and report any material delivery received to the office.
• Leave the job sites clean and proactively take measures to leave them in better condition than found.
• Safely, correctly, and efficiently unload and clean the trailers upon return to the company.
• Takes excellent care of the company’s products, tools, and equipment.

Position Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
• Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
• Ability and skill in operating equipment and power tools preferred.
• Ability to operate a phone/apps/emails.
• Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a screen up to 75% of the time.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 lb. occasionally and/or up to 20 lb. of force constantly to move objects.
• Can stay upright/stand up to 100% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license (and/or CDL).
• Ability to understand English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
