Job summary
Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time Environmental Planning and Permitting Specialist to assist with regulatory permits and approvals for waterfront projects in California. You will work with project managers to develop environmental studies, coordinate inputs from engineers and GIS, and perform QA on deliverables.
Some fieldwork in the local area is expected. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and at least three years of relevant consulting experience, with knowledge of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or related field.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience, preferably in consulting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations with experience in ecological research or land use analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with permit applications under federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and review environmental studies and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, GIS, and editing teams to complete deliverables.
- Support fieldwork and site visits as needed, primarily in California.
- Participate in client meetings and respond to agency and public comments.
