Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation seeks a maintenance-focused professional to educate customers on safe waterblast equipment and perform on-site service. Responsibilities include generating work orders, assembling and repairing units, and inspecting equipment to ensure full operability.

The role also covers parts management, rental check in/out, after-hours support, and occasional travel up to 10% to customer sites. A high school diploma and maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years of maintenance experience including but not limited to, industrial equipment such as pumps and motors are required.
• Ability to obtain Forklift certificate

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on safe use and features of waterblast equipment.
• Generate work orders for routine maintenance and document completion.
• Perform assembly, repair, and diagnosis at customer site or facility.
• Inspect equipment and perform repairs to keep it fully operational.
• Manage parts and inventory, reorder supplies, and conduct cycle counts.
• Check in/out rental equipment and document charges.
• Travel up to 10% to job sites as needed.
• Provide after-hours support and basic user training for operators/customers.
