Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. is seeking a senior Team Leader for Water/Wastewater to recruit, mentor, and lead a growing engineering team. You will manage municipal and private development projects while expanding client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, staff development, and driving service growth in water and wastewater projects across the firm. A PE license in Wisconsin is required and leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience focusing on water/wastewater design and review.
• Strong technical background in water/wastewater systems and related disciplines.
• Experience with client interaction, business development, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead independently and within a team and manage deadlines.

Goals & Responsibilities

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, focusing on water/wastewater engineering design and review
• Strong technical background in water and wastewater system, with working knowledge or related disciplines such as permitting and construction
• Proven experience with client interaction, business development, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive both independently and within a team environment, while managing deadlines effectively
