Job summary
Slayden Constructors Inc. is seeking a Commissioning & Start-Up Engineer to support a critical wastewater treatment plant construction project in Oregon.
The role involves developing and executing commissioning plans, coordinating with client and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, compliant startup of major plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2–3 years of commissioning/start-up experience in water/wastewater or industrial
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 2-3 years' experience in commissioning & startup and plant operations.
- Experience in the water/wastewater industry or applicable industrial construction responsibilities.
- Familiar with asset management programs (i.e. Maximo).
- Proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office; SharePoint document management.
- Ability to travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of commissioning and startup plans.
- Assist in developing procedures for testing, cleaning and initial startup of major plant equipment.
- Coordinate with client/vendor/subcontractor for startup and provide training materials.
- Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment.
- Document commissioning data and as-built documentation; contribute to O&Ms and design feedback.
