Ardurra seeks a Water/Wastewater Senior Design Engineer to join our team in New Jersey, including Egg Harbor Township, Secaucus, Morganville and Cherry Hill. You will plan, design and analyze municipal water and wastewater projects, leveraging 7–15 years of experience to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires hydraulic calculations, preparation of reports and bid documents, and coordination with Townships and utilities.

RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Design Engineerto join our team inEgg Harbor Township, Secaucus, Morganville, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Clean, potable water and reliable wastewater treatment are more than modern conveniences; they are critical to human health. RVE and Ardurra have been a leader in this challenging market since our founding, and water and wastewater improvements form a significant portion of our project portfolio.

Our team members are active in leading water and wastewater associations and often present on technical topics. RVE is at the forefront of water treatment and has designed and improved treatment plants for contaminants including PFNA, PFOA and PFOS, and we recently planned and designed the first plant in New Jersey to treat 1,4-Dioxane.

Primary Function

This position will plan, design and perform analysis on water/wastewater engineering projects such as water main; sanitary main; pumping stations; and water & wastewater treatment facilities. The Design Engineer shall be self-motivated, with good writing skills and capable of working in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 7 to 15 years of experience in the municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field of engineering.

Primary Duties:

• Hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
• Producing correspondence/reports/biddable documents for arsenic, radium and iron removal water plants; wells; water storage tanks; pumping stations; piping systems; and wastewater treatment plant improvements.
• Engineering support to our inspection department.
• Act as firm’s representative to Townships; utility authorities; and private utility companies.
• Draft concise proposals for new work.
• Capable of addressing multiple simultaneous assignments, on-time and within budgets.
• ""Proactive'" identification of problems/issues coupled with detailed analysis and effective resolution.
• Producing all deliverables associated with this position.
• Capable of addressing multiple simultaneous assignments, on-time and within budgets.
• Regulatory permitting.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or better in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• PE license required (PE license highly valued).
• Ability to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specifications.
• Provides effort and takes pride in all work assignments produced.
• Not afraid to ask for guidance/assistance in order to expedite the date of assignment deliverables.
• Ability to simultaneously work on group and individual assignments.
• Must have effective communication, management and writing skills.
• Must be skilled in the use of Word/Excel products.
• AutoCAD capability a plus.

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. The expected salary range for this position is $92,000 to $151,800.00 annually. The firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
