Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to lead complex municipal water and sewer projects.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships while ensuring safe, sustainable solutions for communities. The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental engineering degree, PE license, 4+ years in engineering and 2+ years in project management, plus proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Deltek Vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline required.
• 4 years engineering experience; 2 years project management experience required.
• PE license required.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks.
• Proficiency with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation) and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices and engineering laws.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage water/wastewater and sewer projects from development of proposals through completion with environmentally friendly, cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery: scope, budget, schedule, client relationships.
• Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors.
• Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations.
• Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC per the Quality Management Plan.
• Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams for timely completion.
