Responsibilities

You'll work with a collaborative and well-resourced internal team spanning civil/site, structural, GIS, and traffic departments to bring innovative engineering solutions to life.

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from concept to construction for public and private clients.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering designs, plans, reports, and permitting documentation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (including Civil/Site, Structural, GIS, Survey, and Traffic) to ensure comprehensive and integrated project outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, and manage submittals and approvals.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and project teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to talent development within the department.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Masters a plus).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, including project leadership.
  • Strong understanding of water distribution, wastewater collection, treatment systems, and permitting processes.
  • Experience working with municipal clients and regulatory agencies in Pennsylvania or surrounding regions.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
