Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Danville, VA or Raleigh or Charlotte, NC offices. Typical projects involve pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects. Responsibilities

• Management of water and wastewater design projects.
• Pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects.
• Lead and facilitate engineering design staff.
• Work with design team across multiple offices and disciplines to generate detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Meet client deadlines and project budgets.
• Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering field or related field.
• VA Professional Engineering license.
• 6-10 years' experience with increasing levels of project responsibilities for public sector water and wastewater projects.
• Successful track record of maintaining relationships with clients in the Charlotte market.
• Extensive technical experience in the design of wastewater conveyance systems and pump stations, water distribution and storage.
• Water/Wastewater treatment experience is a plus.
• A successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
