We are seeking an experienced and proactive Water & Wastewater Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Lehigh Valley, PA. In this role, you will oversee and manage a variety of environmental water and wastewater projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. You will drive the successful execution of projects, from design to construction, while fostering strong client relationships and optimizing project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Lead and manage environmental water and wastewater projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and on budget
  • Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success
  • Maintain ongoing client communication throughout project phases to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
Design, Reports, and Engineering:
  • Prepare detailed designs, engineering calculations, and reports for water and wastewater systems
  • Review designs and ensure they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements
Construction Contracts & Administration:
  • Develop contract documents, specifications, and cost opinions for project bidding
  • Monitor and inspect construction projects
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the owner and contractors, managing any changes or issues during construction
  • Ensure compliance with permits and other regulatory requirements
Business Development & Client Relationships:
  • Assist in proposal preparation, estimating time, cost, and resources required to complete projects
  • Participate in business development efforts and client presentations to secure new project opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with environmental emphasis
  • Pennsylvania P.E. licensure
  • 5+ years of project experience involving:
  • o Design of water distribution and treatment systems
  • o Wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes
  • o Hydraulics
  • o Environmental assessments
  • Minimum 1+ years project management experience
  • Ability to provide timely project deliverables
  • Develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is helpful
  • Previous experience with:
  • o Computer modeling of water systems
  • o Hydraulic design software
  • o PA DEP regulations
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid U.S. driver’s license is required)
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
