Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Control Engineer to oversee project controls for vital water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Florida. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, along with significant project controls experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of project controls experience focused on cost control, planning, and schedule control.
• 7 to 10 years of construction/engineering experience, preferably in the water/wastewater sector.

Responsibilities

• Implement project controls direction and systems for cost and schedule management.
• Monitor subcontractor performance in cost control and scheduling.
• Prepare progress reports utilizing Earned Value metrics.

Skills

Proficient in scheduling application software such as Primavera P6

Strong concepts of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Good command of English both written and spoken

Strong influencing without authority

Analytical skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
