Consor in Texas is seeking a Water & Wastewater Field Engineer to support construction, operation, maintenance, and improvement of utility infrastructure. The role blends office and field work, with exposure to weather and water environments across El Paso and surrounding areas.
You will perform field inspections, monitor construction, investigate issues, and assist with design reviews and capital projects while maintaining regulatory compliance and data-driven reports.
The Water & Wastewater Field Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support for the construction, operation, maintenance, and improvement of water distribution, wastewater collection, and utility infrastructure systems. This role performs field inspections, evaluates system performance, coordinates with contractors and operations personnel, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports capital improvement and maintenance projects. The position serves as a liaison between engineering, operations, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient utility services.
This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines. May require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
