B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to join our Las Vegas team. You will pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing accurate estimates and partnering with operations from bid through handoff.

Ideal candidates understand water/wastewater construction, self-performed work, and can evaluate scope, constructability, and cost—not just perform takeoffs. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and/or wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of means, methods, sequencing, and productivity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong quantity takeoff, cost analysis, and scope review skills.
• Experience with HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure coverage.
• Evaluate phasing, staging, logistics, constructability, and sequencing.
• Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
• Identify risks, opportunities, value-engineering ideas, and cost-saving strategies.
• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and lead handoffs to the project team.
• Support subcontractor and supplier buyout after award.
• Partner with operations and project teams to set projects up for successful execution.
