Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager to join our Orange, CA office. The role focuses on detailed design, project management, and leading a professional team delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will supervise engineers, coordinate multi-disciplinary work, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and offices in Orange and Los Angeles. This position offers growth and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong design and project management experience in water/wastewater.
• PE license and California licensure preferred.
• 10+ years in design/PM for water and wastewater infra projects.
• Experience coaching engineers and writing proposals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mid to junior engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Lead technical design staff for water conveyance, treatment, storage and pumping facilities.
• Prepare documentation: reports, proposals, specifications.
• Liaise with clients and other departments in Orange and LA region.
