Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Boston, MA office. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of professionals and gain hands-on experience in water and wastewater systems.

Responsibilities include assisting with design of water and wastewater systems, evaluating alternative technologies, and performing hydraulic modeling and design calculations. Local candidates preferred; housing stipend is not provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

$1 8 .75 /hour - $2 9 .75 /hour . Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Summer Intern Program

During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
