Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead municipal infrastructure projects, from design through construction. You will oversee treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and distribution systems while mentoring junior staff.

You will run hydraulic models, perform rigorous calculations, and deliver flawless plans, specs, and reports. Collaboration across disciplines and direct client liaison will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• 2–10+ years in water/wastewater engineering, treatment design or utility infrastructure.
• Proficiency with design and modeling tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of water and wastewater projects (plants, pump stations, pipelines, distribution and collection).
• Perform hydraulic modeling, calculations, and produce plans, specs and reports.
• Collaborate with civil, environmental and planning teams for integrated solutions.
• Interface with municipalities, regulators and stakeholders on permitting and compliance.
• Own project budgets and schedules; drive proposals to win new work.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Education: B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Credentials: MUST HAVE P.E.
• Experience: 2–10+ years in water/wastewater engineering—treatment design, hydraulic modeling, or utility infrastructure.
• Tech Skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, WaterGEMS/SewerGEMS/InfoWorks, and other modeling tools.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communicator, collaborator, and problem‑solver with a drive to lead.
