Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our Birmingham, AL team for Summer 2027. You will assist in designing and analyzing water and wastewater facilities and gain hands-on exposure to real projects for municipalities and public agencies.

You will work under supervision to develop technical skills, perform calculations, and contribute to field data collection, reports, and cost estimates while using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental engineering.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and calculations.
• Participate in field investigations and data collection.
• Support cost estimates and permitting efforts.
• Review drawings for accuracy and standards.
• Use engineering software and MS Office tools.
• Support team goals as needed.
