Job summary

The Hawai'i Rural Water Association is seeking an Utility Worker to perform field operations in water and wastewater services. Work includes meter reading, maintenance, and customer communications, with on-site assistance and supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Construction or plumbing experience equivalent to a laborer or apprentice.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up of grounds and facilities.
• Inspect services and facilities; read and repair meters and appurtenances.
• Record meter readings and notes service repair requirements.
• Notify customers for shutdowns and complete paperwork.
• Assists in setting, replacing or removing meters.
