Job summary

Jordan-Foster-Construction-5 seeks a safety‑conscious CDL A tanker driver to deliver water from a source to customer sites, ensuring accurate paperwork and logs. You will operate a water truck, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain communication with dispatch and crew to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and a tanker endorsement. Prior construction experience and DOT knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to clear background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Tanker endorsement preferred.
• 2+ years experience driving a commercial vehicle in construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive assigned tanker vehicle.
• Follow dispatch routes and plan route changes.
• Coordinate with supervisors and dispatch for job tasks.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Load and unload water by connecting/disconnecting hoses as required.
• Hook up and disconnect trailers as needed.
• Check weather conditions and road reports before departure.
• Maintain vehicle with fueling, fluids, tire pressure and basic servicing.
