The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Water Truck Driver/Groundsperson to operate a water truck, support plant maintenance, and ensure dust suppression across sites. CDL is not required, but a valid license is needed along with a clean driving record.

You will perform pre- and post-trip checks, drive safely, and assist with maintenance while following MSHA and company safety policies. Training opportunities are offered, and benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Overview

Naceville Quarry, a partner of The H&K Group, Inc is searching for the ideal Water Truck Driver/Groundsperson to join their team! The driver operates water truck to transport and dump water for dust suppression, and assist with plant maintenance. A CDL license is not required.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows company safety policies and MSHA policies.
• Perform pre and post trip of truck every day and fill out daily inspection sheets.
• Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate water truck.
• Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals.
• Does regular inspection of roadways to determine dust suppression needs.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck such as lubricating and cleaning.
• Perform all work following company policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
• Driver’s license
• Clean Driving record
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Mathematical skills
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience

• Applicable safety certifications from OSHA, MSHA, etc.
• Previous experience in surface mining, construction materials, heavy civil and highway construction
