Job summary

Angelo Water Service in San Angelo, Texas is seeking a Water Treatment / Plumbing Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water-treatment equipment for customers in the local area.

No water-treatment experience is required if you have a solid mechanical background; we will teach you the trade. The role includes on-the-job training, a company vehicle during working hours, and support to obtain your TCEQ license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background checks, drug screening, and WorkSteps may be required.
• Willing and able to obtain a TCEQ Water Treatment Specialist license within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot water treatment equipment and plumbing connections.
• Install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, filtration systems, and related equipment.
• Service, repair, maintain, and upgrade Culligan and non-Culligan water treatment equipment.
• Work primarily with PEX and PVC plumbing connections.
• Learn water treatment principles, equipment, installation standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Explain completed work and equipment recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, parts, and equipment.
