The ideal candidate holds a WV Class 2 surface water treatment license, can perform routine maintenance, collect data for reporting, and assist with installations. Willingness to work emergencies and occasional local travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold WV Class 2 license for surface water treatment.
• Background check required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work during emergencies.
• Familiar with West Virginia regulations for surface water treatment.
• Willing to travel locally occasionally.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with water treatment systems experience.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting for equipment handling and installation.
• Proficient in data collection methods and water quality analysis.
• Familiarity with logic controllers used in automated water treatment processes is preferred.
• Basic math skills for chemical management and system calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment systems, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Analyze water quality data to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including logic controllers and pumps.
• Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks related to installation and repair of water treatment components.
• Collect data for reporting and document results.
• Plumb new installations or modifications per industry standards.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot issues and implement timely solutions.
