Springbrook Software is seeking a Water Treatment Foreman to lead the daily operations and maintenance of our water production facilities. This onsite role requires supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and providing technical guidance to the Water Operations Manager to ensure safe, compliant water treatment.
Responsibilities include overseeing plant performance, training operators, and maintaining ADEQ and federal water quality standards.

Under general supervision of the Water Operations Manager, leads and participates in the day-to day operations and maintenance of water production and treatment facilities, trains and schedules the work of the water and arsenic treatment operations staff and provides technical support to the Water Operations Manager. Ensures all phases of water treatment operations and the quality of water produced meet or exceed the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and Federal water quality requirements to ensure the health, safety and protection of the public; and performs other related work as required.
This classification involves work that requires the ability to traverse uneven terrain, climb ladders, perform repairs on equipment, lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds, ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators as required, and use utility department equipment such as pumps, generators, pipe locator, pipe repair equipment.
A High school diploma or equivalent, a valid Arizona driver’s license, a Grade II Certification in Water Treatment as issued by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and five (5) years of experience in potable water treatment operations; or, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Arizona driver’s license, a Grade1 Certification in Water Treatment and a Grade II Water Distribution, and at least ten (10) years of experience in potable water treatment operations.
May be required to work overtime, holidays and weekends and be on-call 24 hours per day on a rotational basis, per the departmental on-call policy. Must be able to respond to call out within twenty (20) minutes. Required to complete physical examination to ensure ability to perform work requirements.
