Job summary
ChemTreat in Texas is seeking a water treatment technical representative to maintain and expand our customer base by applying basic water treatment solutions and by communicating program results to Account Managers and customers.
Qualified candidates will perform water analysis, calibrate pumps, and monitor treatment effectiveness while providing guidance to junior technicians. Travel to customer sites is required, and proficiency with MS Office and reporting tools is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in water treatment, chemical or adjacent industries
- Technical skills and familiarity with water analysis and reporting requirements
Responsibilities
- Regularly perform water analysis and apply chemical solutions
- Calibrate pumps and repair to restore chemical feeds
- Monitor product feed rates and adjust treatment programs as needed
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and document results
- Enter results into software and communicate findings via service reports
- Assist in water-related system improvement projects
- Monitor inventories and maintain equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
