Job summary

Culligan is seeking a Water Treatment Equipment Field Service Technician & Installer to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install water treatment systems at customer sites throughout Wisconsin. You will travel to client locations, perform startups, routine inspections, and proactive maintenance while documenting service activity and system performance.

The role requires strong technical troubleshooting, ability to read manuals, safe work practices, and availability for emergency on-call

Qualifications

• Experience working with water treatment systems or related equipment in field service is a plus.
• Strong technical skills with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment.
• Ability to read service manuals and perform repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive maintenance skills.
• 20-point equipment inspections are performed.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Physical ability to lift, haul, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Install, startup, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure systems function optimally and identify issues early.
• Use diagnostic tools to test electrical components and verify integrity.
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement effective repairs promptly.
• Maintain detailed service records (inspections, repairs, performance data).
• Explain system status and recommended improvements to clients.
• Follow safety protocols during all service activities.
• Collaborate with team to optimize service delivery and share insights.
• Be available for emergency after-hours service rotation.
