Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co seeks a Technical Service Specialist - Water to support wastewater treatment applications for existing and new customers. You will troubleshoot, field test products, and develop custom treatment concepts and chemical programs.

You will maintain accounts, assist in closing opportunities, install and troubleshoot feed and metering systems, and provide field support to the Hydrite sales team. Travel and overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years field experience in wastewater treatment.
  • Bachelors degree highly preferred.
  • Must be technically competent in wastewater treatment applications
  • Must possess strong problem solving, troubleshooting and lients people skills
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain wastewater treatment business at existing customer accounts.
  • Assist in closing new business opportunities identified by sales representatives.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot feed systems, including metering pumps and polymer dilution systems.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close opportunities that support Hydrites long-term growth and market presence.
  • Conduct plant surveys and utilize available tools and resources to develop best-in-class treatment solutions and chemical programs.
  • Effectively manage time and territory to maximize customer support and business development activities.
  • Prepare timely chemical treatment proposals, recommendations, and service reports.
  • Ensure proper care and use of company vehicles, equipment, and other company property.
  • Provide technical support for utility systems, including boilers and cooling towers.
  • Maintain adequate inventories of chemical samples, testing supplies, and service equipment.
  • Provide field support and technical expertise to the Hydrite sales organization.
