Job summary

JENNMAR Services is hiring an experienced Water / Wastewater Transfer Operator for a full-time, rotating schedule. You will join a 3-person crew to manage daily water and wastewater transfer operations, with 12-hour shifts. Days: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Nights: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

The role requires vigilance and teamwork. Pay is $20.00 per hour with medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater treatment
• SAFELAND PEC certification; training provided if not held
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug test and background check (occasional randomized tests)

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 3-person crew supporting daily water & wastewater transfer operations
• Monitor pumps, meters, gauges, and operating conditions
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns
• Record readings and operating data using a laptop or handheld device
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep
• General mechanical work
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment
• Mowing, weed-whacking, and snow plowing as needed
