Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Experienced Water / Wastewater Transfer Operators to join a rotating shift 3-person crew in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time, long-term role offers steady work, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.

You will monitor pumps, gauges, and data readings, troubleshoot equipment, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring safe operation. Shift schedule is 3 days on/3 days off, 12-hour days and nights.

Qualifications

• Previous water or wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Oil & Gas pad experience is a plus.
• SAFELAND PEC certification is required or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pumps, meters, gauges and operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns.
• Record readings and data using a laptop or handheld device.
• Inspect equipment for safe, reliable operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep (general mechanical work, cleaning, mowing, snow plowing).

JENNMAR Services is hiring Experienced Water / Wastewater Transfer Operators. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering steady work, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package. This position requires working both day and night shifts. Please apply only if you are comfortable with a rotating shift schedule.

Job Description:

• Work as part of a 3-person crew supporting daily water and wastewater transfer operations
• Monitor pumps, meters, gauges, and operating conditions
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns
• Record readings and operating data using a laptop or handheld device
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep, including:
  • General mechanical work
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Mowing, weed-whacking, and snow plowing as needed

Requirements:

• Previous water or wastewater treatment experience preferred
• Oil & Gas pad experience is a plus
• SAFELAND PEC certification (training will be provided if you do not already have it)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check + occasional randomized drug testing

Schedule:

• 3 days on / 3 days off
• 12-hour rotatinal shifts
  • Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
