Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Rensselaer, NY is seeking a Clean Utilities Technician to support manufacturing by starting up, operating, and shutting down clean utility systems.

You will maintain pumps, WFI stills, Clean Steam Generators, and related piping, performing preventive and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. The role involves monitoring with BAS and PLC, documenting validated equipment, coordinating with Facilities Management and contractors, and working on-site

Qualifications

• AAS degree or equivalent in Engineering/Construction Technologies is required.
• 2+ years of related experience for Technician II or 5+ years for Technician III.
• Ability to read piping, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on clean utilities and systems that support manufacturing.
• Maintain water rooms and equipment such as pumps, WFI stills, Clean Steam Generators, and piping.
• Troubleshoot and repair clean utility equipment and systems; perform WFI point-of-use flushing.
• Maintain documents and records on validated equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors on scheduling repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor and control systems using BAS and PLC controls; communicate with Facilities Management on work events.
