Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of water and wastewater projects as Engineer-of-Record at multiple facilities. You will size, evaluate, and specify electrical systems, perform field investigations, prepare construction packages, and contribute to business development.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure quality across design, documents, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects and/or components of varying complexity.
• Evaluates, selects, specifies, and engineers electrical systems for a project.
• Develops design through sketches, models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
• Leads project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
• Reviews deliverables and ensures conformance with design and codes.
