Job summary

Kaschl’s Culligan is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair and maintain water treatment systems across our district, working closely with our Service Coordinator. As the face of Kaschl’s Culligan, technicians deliver excellent customer service and build strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Clean driving record and an annual abstract.
• Criminal record check by RCMP.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to bend, twist and kneel as needed.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions with accuracy.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and task planning.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload your vehicle for daily jobs.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Arrange payments from customers
• Maintain toolkit and vehicle inventory
• Handle installations and filter changes
• Build equipment from provided specs
• Bill customers per head office pricing
• Keep service area clean and organized
• Relay required inventory for ordering
• Maintain retail units and refurbished stock
• Diagnose issues over the phone and on site
• Read water tests and recommend services
• Install equipment according to notes and specs

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• A class 5 or better driver's license.

• Loading and unloading your vehicle.
• Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections
• Arranging payments from customers

• Billing customers based on pricing outlined by head office
• Keeping service area clean
• Relaying required inventory to Service Coordinator for ordering
• Maintaining retail units, returned, refurbished units
• Ability to diagnose over the phone and on site service issues
• Ability to perform/ read water test to recommend equipment services needed
• Ability to install equipment based on notes, pictures, specs provided
