Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR in Akron, OH is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to respond to emergency calls, begin water mitigation, and help restore homes and businesses.

You will perform water extraction, mold remediation, and set up drying equipment, while documenting progress with job management software and working with homeowners and crews to complete projects. Comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred but not required.
• Customer service skills and a desire to learn.
• Comfort using smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions.
• A valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and initiate water mitigation services.
• Perform water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, and mold remediation.
• Set up and monitor professional drying equipment.
• Accurately document progress using job management software.
• Work collaboratively with homeowners, office staff, and lead technicians to complete scheduled projects.
• Maintain company standards for appearance, communication, and equipment upkeep.
