Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Project Manager based in Florida. You will direct multi‑discipline teams to deliver water resources projects from initiation to close‑out, including flood risk reduction, levees, and river restoration.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relations while driving compliant, high‑quality outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10 years of related experience, and a PE license, plus strong leadership and strategic planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
At least 10 years related experience.
Minimum 5 years project management experience.
Professional Engineer license (PE) recognized by licensing board.
MS Office and MS Project experience; Access would be a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
Active participant in our employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of multi-discipline teams through project lifecycle.
Manage all aspects of complex small to medium projects or large routine projects.
Lead water resources projects including flood risk reduction and dam rehabilitation.
Assist in permitting efforts and documentation.
Coordinate multiple projects concurrently and manage deliverables on schedule.
Maintain client relations and participate in marketing, design and production meetings.
Ensure project staffing, workload, and QA/QC procedures.
