Job summary

Wright-Pierce is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to contribute to design and analysis for water resources infrastructure across multiple locations, including Bedford, NH. The role emphasizes calculations, planning, and collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team.

The candidate should have 4–8 years of experience in water resources engineering, with proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM), GIS, and open channel/bridge hydraulics.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of water resources engineering experience.
• Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling (HEC-RAS; HEC-SSP; HEC-HMS; HydroCad; SWMM).
• Experience with surface water hydrology and GIS.
• Experience with open channel, gravity pipe, and bridge hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Design water resources related systems and infrastructure including stormwater, floodplain, riverine, coastal, roadways, sites, dams, and bridges.
• Perform technical reviews of water resources analyses and design documents.
• Review and guide junior staff on design calculations.
