Job summary

HDR in Seattle seeks a Water Resources Intern to gain real-world experience on exciting projects and to learn under supervision from a professional or Project Manager. You will engage with mentors and HDR leaders through targeted programs while applying standard engineering techniques.

As an enrolled undergraduate or graduate engineering student, you will develop skills in problem solving, communication, and technical work, supporting HDR's water resources initiatives and community impact.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture and collaboration.
• Preferred: 2+ years toward degree with GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on engineering projects.
• Engage with mentors and young professionals through programs.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform tasks under supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Contribute to various duties as needed.
• Internship is for Summer 2027.
