Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to contribute to local and global water projects. You will develop analyses, assist with planning for storage, conveyance and distribution, and perform research and writing to support studies. Local projects may include stormwater and green infrastructure work.

You will work under mentorship from senior staff and benefit from a hybrid work policy with in-person and remote collaboration, while authorization to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply environmental and water resources analyses to support planning and design.
• Assist with planning for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects.
• Conduct research, technical writing, and data collection/analysis for water resources planning.
• Support stormwater management and green infrastructure initiatives as applicable.
