Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites motivated civil and environmental engineering students for a Summer 2027 Intern position based in Ann Arbor, MI.

You will work in a team on water resources projects including dams, river diversions, and water utilities, gaining exposure to field data collection and design support. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, with opportunities to assist Project Managers and potentially explore other disciplines in the office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Civil/Environmental Engineering degree.
• Proficient in MS Office and data handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field work for data collection, survey, site inspections and observations.
• Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports.
• Assist in preparing design and construction plans, specifications, quantity take-offs and estimates.
• Support Project Managers with tasks to track and advance project progress.
