Job summary

Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group seeks a Water Resources / Agricultural Engineer to join our Central Valley team. You will participate in irrigation and groundwater projects, coordinating with engineers and clients to deliver practical solutions for water management challenges.

The role emphasizes project planning, design, and communication, with opportunities to contribute to MAR/ASR studies and water rights analyses in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience preparing engineering calculations and conducting research.
• Experience with AutoCAD, with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must hold an active CA PE license or licensed in another state and be willing to sit for CA license within 18 months of hire.
• 2-10 years experience working with teams in studies, investigations, and designs that delivered positive results.
• Candidates experience must show an increasing level of responsibility, skill and knowledge in water-related projects.
• Experience with irrigation districts and knowledge of California water rights and water systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects with a team serving irrigation districts, groundwater sustainability agencies, and agricultural entities.
• Engage in project planning, engineering consulting and design, and client contact.
• Manage projects to meet water management challenges for sustainable outcomes.
