Job summary

Wright-Pierce, a multi-discipline environmental engineering firm, seeks a Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team in Burlington, MA. The role involves engineering calculations and design of water resources systems, with salary range $78,000 - $125,000 per year.

Responsibilities include planning, analysis, and design of stormwater, floodplain, riverine, coastal, roadways, sites, dams, and bridges, plus technical reviews and task management.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Water Resources Engineering
• Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Water Quality simulation and analysis (HEC-RAS, HEC-SSP, HEC-HMS, HydroCad, SWMM)
• Experience with surface water hydrology and GIS
• Experience with open channel, gravity pipe, and bridge hydraulics
• Engineer in Training Certification required
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred
• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; MS degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations with minimal supervision
• Plan, analyze, and design water resources systems and infrastructure (stormwater, floodplain, riverine, coastal, roads, sites, dams, bridges)
• Review water resources analyses and design documents
• Manage tasks and review junior staff calculations
