Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water Resources Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to support our Water Resources Group in Phoenix. You will perform analysis and design as a Project Engineer on difficult to complex water resource-related projects for municipal clients and support the work of other divisions within the firm as requested.

Responsibilities include stormwater modeling, floodplain studies, sediment transport analyses, and permitting support.

Competenze

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• M.S. in Hydrology/ hydraulics or related field preferred.
• 4–10 years of relevant water resources design/construction experience.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to support our Water Resources Group. As part of our team, you will perform analysis and design as a Project Engineer on difficult to complex water resource-related projects for our municipal clients and support the work of other divisions within the firm as requested.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff as necessary to manage specific hydraulic engineering tasks within larger complex projects.Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design.Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies.Perform sediment transport and scour analyses to support water resources projects.Assist in water resources permitting efforts.Collect, evaluate, and present data in technical reports and oral presentations.Assist in the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities and other hydraulic structures.Work independently and within multidisciplinary teams of geomorphologists, biologists, planners, emergency managers, and additional hydraulic and water resources engineers.Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation efforts.Required Experience:Bachelor's of Science in Civil EngineeringMaster’s degree in with an emphasis in Hydrology and/or Hydraulics (or related) is preferred.4-10 years of increasingly responsible, professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of water resource-related projectsProfessional Engineer License, or ability to obtain within 6 monthsPlease note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000+ depending on experienceAbout Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
