Job summary

An engineering firm in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to assist in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of water and wastewater projects. Job Description

Bowen Collins & Associates is a civil and environmental engineering firm specializing in providing water and wastewater relating consulting services to clients in the intermountain west. As a water resources engineer, you will work with and under the direction of other engineers and environmental scientists to plan, design, and oversee construction on projects including components of water resources planning, water and wastewater treatment, water transmission, sewer collection, stormwater drainage, flood control, groundwater management, and/or environmental services.

Skills & Qualifications
  • O to 5 years of experience in entry-level position
  • Understanding of water resources, hydraulics, and hydrology
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of working efficiently with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic computer modeling programs
  • Experience with client marketing efforts and proposal development
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred
  • Experience with GIS software preferred
