Prince William Water is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Officer to oversee regulatory compliance and advisement for water and wastewater operations in the Virginia/National arena. The role involves risk assessment, policy development, and coordinating with health and environmental agencies.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of environmental services/compliance experience, with partial telework and hybrid work options enabled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, or related field.
• At least five years of environmental services and compliance experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Brief regulatory agendas and proposed activities to leadership, and recommend compliance actions.
• Assist divisions with plans to implement new or revised regulations applicable to operations.
• Lead permitting activities and renewals for air, water, wastewater, and stormwater.
• Review permit applications, perform research, and prepare monitoring requirements and reports.
• Prepare annual water quality reports and ensure compliance with health regulators.
