Job summary

Cedar Point's Water Quality Supervisor oversees water attractions, ensuring chemical levels meet state and local requirements and coordinating preventative maintenance and budgeting. The role includes supervising staff, safety trainings, and proper chemical handling.

Under the Water Park Supervisor, this position may require night, weekend, and holiday scheduling to support park operations and compliance with Ohio pool regulations. Background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be safety conscious, and able to interpret written and verbal instruction.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Ohio pool laws and CPO preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, per Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that chemical levels are continuously monitored and fall within State and Local mandated parameters.
• Assist Team Members in diagnosis of equipment malfunctions and water chemistry in balances.
• Promote a safe work environment by conducting safety trainings, meetings and ensuring proper use and storage of chemicals and PPE.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training new water quality Team Members.
• Other duties may be assigned.
