Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Indiana is seeking a Water Quality Specialist to help homeowners understand water quality and provide solutions. You will test water, explain results, and recommend products that improve homes’ water quality.

Training is provided for plumbing inspections and you will quote prices, perform repairs, and interact with customers in their homes or businesses to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE.
• Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection (training available).
• Ability to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Must interact and communicate well with customers in homes/businesses.
• Lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
• Use of hand and power tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand residential plumbing operation, water quality, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Training to expand knowledge and certification expected.
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Completion of proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in on-call assignments as required.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Promote a professional, friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Consistently sell equipment and promotional material.
