Job summary

Lippert Plant 74 specializes in assembly of school bus windows and entry doors for customers primarily in the southeastern states. This Quality Inspector / Water Testing Inspector role focuses on performing water testing inspections and quality verification to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards prior to shipment.

The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with production teams to uphold quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education.
• 6 months or more of attention to detail oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Perform water testing inspections of all products to assure products meet established specifications prior to shipment.
• Perform final inspections of all products to assure products meet established specifications prior to shipment using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
• Reconcile final inspection and water testing documentation for shipments.
• Interact with department leadership, production and other inspectors as needed. Daily communication with leaders and operators on potential defects.
• Conduct process audits throughout production to ensure processes are being followed according to established work instructions and quality standards.
