Job summary

Regional Associations seeks a qualified engineer to investigate complaints related to public water systems and to conduct sanitary surveys in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities include preparing reports, following up on violations, and providing technical assistance.

The role requires in-office work Monday–Friday, background checks, and the ability to work legally in the United States. ENHANCED by strong collaboration with DEQ attorneys and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or construction management with PE/engineering intern pathway.
• Registration as Engineer Intern with OKPES or eligible for transfer.
• Experience with PWS systems and regulatory compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate environmental complaints involving PWS systems.
• Conduct sanitary surveys and review engineering reports.
• Develop enforcement actions and coordinate with DEQ attorneys.
• Engage stakeholders and provide engineering technical assistance.
